How to Use

Wellness Support: Yellow dock is a valuable cleanser that can support both the circulatory system and digestive system—particularly the bowel. Since yellow dock is high in iron, it is an excellent herbal wellness support for those low in iron.

Cautions and Contraindications: When using yellow dock, avoid excessive quantities of tannin tea or any herb teas that are high in tannin and alkaloids, such as peppermint Mentha ×piperita (L.) and coffee. Tannins and alkaloids interfere with the uptake and absorption of iron. Anyone with a history of kidney stones should use yellow dock cautiously. Yellow dock is stimulating to the bowels and, therefore, should not be taken where there is intestinal obstruction, during pregnancy, or while breast-feeding.
