Experience

Formula:

KEEP CALM TEA:

Valerian Valeriana officinalis: 1 ounce

Hops Humulus lupulus: 1 ounce

Skullcap Scutellaria lateriflora: 1 ounce

Passionflower Passiflora incarnata: 1 ounce

Mix the dried herbs and prepare as a standard tea. Use 3-4 tablespoons of the tea three times a day and before bed.

To prepare the tea: Place one ounce of your herb mixture into a ceramic or glass teapot. Bring 1 cup purified water to a boil. Do not use an aluminum pot. An electric kettle or kettle on the stove is fine.

Turn off the heat and pour the water over the herb.

Cover the pot and let steep for 5 to 10 minutes.

Strain the tea in a non-aluminum strainer and then drink. Store for no more than 24 hours in the refrigerator.

If you find the taste and aroma of valerian "too strong" just leave it out or make capsules by grinding all the herb together using a mortar and pestle, or food processor. Prepare your own vegetarian capsules using one of our capsule machines.
