Neroli Essential Oil Organic
Neroli: Citrus aurantium (L.) var. amara
Why neroli? Did you know that orange flowers have an historic association with weddings (and fertility!)? It's no surprise. Neroli essential oil and weddings have a lot in common: they both offer an uplifting, sweet, and refreshing infusion of life. Neroli is a common addition to perfumes and makes a lovely bouquet garnish.
Quality Assured: Our certified organic neroli essential oil is responsibly sourced from Tunisia. The essential oil is steam distilled from the flowers. Every batch of oil is Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth and produced without the use of genetic engineering, artificial fertilizers, or pesticides. Additionally, our expert aromatherapists here at the Apothecary Shoppe personally assess all of our oils—using touch, taste, smell, and lab analyses—to ensure that your essential oil is suitable for use and entirely free of adulterants.
The Apothecary Shoppe's "Neroli" was recently featured in a widely popular lifestyle magazine. Check it out here!

How to Use
Benefits: Neroli aromatherapy essential oil’s uplifting aroma makes it a wonderful oil to promote rest and relaxation. It's also touted as a natural "love potion!"
Regulatory Status: Neroli essential oil is listed on the FDA Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) list.
How to Store Your Oil: Keep your essential oils stored in a cool dark place. Neroli (and all citrus oils), pine, and juniper should all be stored in the fridge to prevent oxidation. If an oil spoils from heat and oxidizes, it can cause skin irritation.
Oils That Blend Well With Neroli: This lovely citrus is a top note and a base note, depending on the oils it is blended with. Its refreshing fragrance blends well with all the citrus oils, and perfumers use it extensively to add a floral note to perfumes. It also blends well with:
- carnation Dianthus caryophyllus
- honeysuckle Lonicera spp.
- jasmine Jasminum grandiflorum
- tuberose Polianthes tuberosa
- ylang ylang Cananga odorata var. genuina
- perfume oils (such as gardenia, magnolia, and lily of the valley)
