Formula:
TINCTURE OF FEVERFEW:
Feverfew Tanacetum parthenium: 1 ounce
Alcohol (vodka) or apple cider vinegar: 1 pint
Crush and cut the herb and place in a wide mouthed jar. Pour in the alcohol or vinegar and screw lid on firmly. Shake the mixture, then place it somewhere warm for two weeks, shaking at least twice a day. Strain through a piece of clean muslin or a coffee filter. Pour the strained tincture into a brown or colored bottle or jar and cap tightly. Always store tinctures in a cool place. Use one-half to one teaspoon, three times a day.
