The Story

Celery: Apium graveolens (Apiaceae/Umbelliferae)

Why Celery? Celery seeds need not be left to the rim of your favorite brunch beverage! Excavations of Egyptian tombs have uncovered vestiges of celery leaves and flowers, leading to the belief that the ancient Egyptians cultivated celery for its therapeutic properties. Celery has a number of known benefits when taken orally, including the capacity to aid in healthy digestion, to support reduced flatulence, and to encourage a healthy appetite.

Quality Assured: Our certified organic celery seed is responsibly sourced from Egypt. This herb is Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth and grown without the use of genetic engineering, artificial fertilizers, or pesticides.
