Adore Your Hair: Supporting Healthy Hair with 4 Essential Oils
Are you looking for a natural way to support strong and healthy hair this summer? Fortifying your strands in the warmer season can help prepare them for the harsh, dry conditions of winter. Start priming your hair now with these 4 essential oil beauty kit staples:
- Atlas Cedarwood Cedrus atlantica ct. Himachalenes oil
- Rosemary Rosmarinus officinalis ct. Cineole oil
- Thyme Thymus vulgaris ct. Linalool oil
- Lavender Lavandula angustifolia oil
Each of these oils has been used individually for centuries to maintain healthy hair. But when combined and mixed with a carrier oil (such as Argan or Jojoba), they work together for optimal support. Atlas cedarwood and rosemary both have a fresh, woodsy aroma, while thyme is known for its intense herbal notes and lavender for its distinctive and pleasant herbaceous-floral scent.
For an easy, natural way to add or maintain a healthy-looking shine to your tresses, promote strand strength, or support faster hair growth, try one of these DIY hair tonics, which contain one or all of these essential oil pillars of hair maintenance.
