Elemi: Canarium luzonicum (Miq.)
Why elemi? When smelling elemi, it’s easy to imagine a cool, spring breeze sweeping through a tropical rainforest. Elemi aromatherapy essential oil is an invigorating top to middle note. It has a light and fresh lemony fragrance with balsamic, slightly green, and sweet undertones with a hint of spice.
Quality Assured: Our elemi essential oil is sustainably cultivated and sourced from the France. The essential oil is steam distilled from the bark and gum resin of the tropical elemi tree. Additionally, our expert aromatherapists here at the Apothecary Shoppe personally assess all of our oils—using touch, taste, smell, and lab analyses—to ensure that your essential oil is suitable for use and entirely free of adulterants.
Independent third-party lab reports including GC/MS and pesticide testing results are available upon request. Please send a request to email@example.com and include the essential oil Latin name and lot number; results include a comparative analysis with ISO and the Pharmacopeia when available.
Benefits: Elemi is a refreshing and cleansing essential oil. It is often used in homemade air fresheners for its light and clean aroma.
