Argan: Argania spinosa (Skeels)
Argan oil is a plant oil exclusive to Morocco. It is a nourishing base and carrier oil, and can help promote radiant, hydrated, and healthy skin. Our argan oil is U.C.F.A. Fair Trade, Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth, and contains no additives, fragrances, or other adulterants.
In Morrocco, the art of extracting argan oil is traditionally done by women. The intricate, multi-step art of argan oil production—which involves stone milling—has been handed down from Berber mothers to daughters for centuries. Your purchase of this Certified Organic argan oil helps support Women’s Cooperatives, which in turn promotes the protection of the Argan forest.
