Wormwood Artemisia absinthium (L.)
Why Wormwood? Wormwood’s bitter properties are often used to support a healthy functioning liver in healthy adults. It’s no wonder this herb is referred to by some as “green ginger”. Formula:
WORMWOOD ELIXIR
Chopped pumpkin Cucurbita pepo seeds: 2 to 4 tablespoons
Honey: 2 tablespoons
Wormwood Artemisia absinthium infusion: 1 tablespoon
Water: 1 cup
Mix all the ingredients and simmer together until half of the original quantity remains. Add honey to the strained mixture. Use one teaspoon, three to six times a day.
