The Story

Chamomile, Roman: Chamaemelum nobile (L.) All. [formerly Anthemis nobilis (L.)]

Why Chamomile, Roman? In Egyptian times, chamomile was a sacred flower and was used as an offering to the sun god Ra. The floral and sweet essential oil of Roman chamomile is useful for balancing the mind and providing an overall sense of calm.

Quality Assured: This Roman chamomile essential oil is responsibly sourced from the U.S.A. The essential oil is steam distilled from the recently dried flower heads. Additionally, our expert aromatherapists here at the Apothecary Shoppe personally assess all of our oils—using touch, taste, smell, and lab analyses—to ensure that your essential oil is suitable for clinical use and entirely free of adulterants.
