Cajuput: Melaleuca leucadendron (L.) var. cajuputi
Why Cajuput? Cajuput essential oil is distilled from the leaves of the cajuput tree, and is known for its highly fragrant aroma. Traditionally, Australian aborigines crushed the cajuput leaf and twigs in their hands and applied it directly to soothe muscles and joints.
Quality Assured: Our organic cajuput essential oil is responsibly sourced from Vietnam. The essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves. Every batch of oil is Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth and produced without the use of genetic engineering, artificial fertilizers, or pesticides. Additionally, our expert aromatherapists here at the Apothecary Shoppe personally assess all of our oils—using touch, taste, smell, and lab analyses—to ensure that your essential oil is suitable for use and entirely free of adulterants.
Independent third-party lab reports including GC/MS and pesticide testing results are available upon request. Please send a request to
apothecary@achs.edu and include the essential oil Latin name and lot number; results include a comparative analysis with ISO and the Pharmacopeia when available.
